Launch of the third ERIGAL video capsule of the Diálogos-Dialogues series!
It is with great joy and pride that we announce today the launch of our third video capsule of our ÉRIGAL Series "Diálogos. Dialogue" which consists of a series of short video interviews with local actors, practitioners and academics from Latin America.
This vignette was made possible thanks to the amazing work of Rose Chabot, PhD Candidate at McGill University, of professors Dan Furukawa Marques and Nora Nagels, Garance Robert at the coordination and of course thanks to the support of our wonderful director Françoise Montambeault.
Entitled "Espaço Coruja: A feminist childcare law in Rio", it gives voice to Amanda Mendonça and Pâmella Passos, researchers and activists who collaborated with municipal delegate Marielle Franco in the participatory construction of a law titled « Espaço Coruja », adopted in 2018 by the legislature of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
