Andréanne Brunet-Bélanger

Andréanne holds a Bachelor’s in International Law and International Relations and a Master’s in Political Science from UQAM. She is currently a PhD candidate in Political Science at l’Université de Montréal. Her studies focus on the diffusion of international norms in domestic law, particularly on Free Prior and Informed consent (FPIC). She is interested in the mobilisation of indigenous women against megaprojects in Mexico as part of the consultations on wind energy development. More generally, her interests overlap with the judicial and political, as well as feminist critiques of law.
