ANDRÉANNE BRUNET-BÉLANGER
Andréanne Brunet-Bélanger

Andréanne holds a Bachelor’s in International Law and International Relations and a Master’s in Political Science from UQAM. She is currently a PhD candidate in Political Science at l’Université de Montréal. Her studies focus on the diffusion of international norms in domestic law, particularly on Free Prior and Informed consent (FPIC). She is interested in the problems of implementation of judgments from the Inter-American Court of Human Rights concerning judgments related to the FPIC in Paraguay and the institutionalization of those by the concerned actors. More generally, her interests overlap with the judicial and political, as well as feminist critiques of law.
