Carolina Campos

Carolina is a Master's student in political science at UQAM, she holds a certificate in International Cooperation from the Université de Montréal, a Bachelor of Laws from the Autonomous University of Colombia and a specialization in public law from Sergio Arboleda University in Colombia.

Her dissertation topic focuses on the social and economic reintegration of women ex-combatants of the FARC-EP and she is under the supervision of Professor Nora Nagels. She is specifically interested in gender representations in the public policy of reincorporation of FARC-EP ex-combatants in the context of the peace agreement signed between the Colombian government and the FARC-EP guerrilla in 2016.

Her professional background is related to the field of international cooperation and socio-economic development in Latin America. Active activist in international solidarity and human rights network, she is a member of the board of directors of the Committee for Human Rights in Latin America, CDHAL, and member of the UQAM Latin America Committee, CUAL, among other civil society initiatives.
