On Tuesday, April 14, as part of a collaboration between the Chaire de recherche du Canada Participation et Citoyenneté-s and ÉRIGAL, we had the pleasure of hosting at the Université de Montréal the conference “La politique à l’église : politisations conservatrices dans les périphéries de Rio de Janeiro”, delivered by Professor Camille Goirand (IHEAL CREDA).
The event attracted an engaged audience, leading to insightful and dynamic discussions 💬. The questions raised during the session helped deepen the analysis of the issues addressed, particularly regarding ongoing political and social transformations in Latin America.
