Master’s student in Political Science
My master’s thesis focuses on the Manzanas del Cuidado in Bogotá and seeks to analyze the effects of public policies—more specifically, the impact of the care system on racialized women—from a decolonial feminist perspective. This project is being carried out as part of my master’s degree at the Université du Québec à Montréal under the supervision of Nora Nagels. In 2024, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the Université de Montréal.
During my undergraduate studies, I worked with the Journal des Alternatives based in Montreal, first as an intern and then as a contributor, which allowed me to cover events in both Quebec and Nepal. I also studied at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú as part of a university exchange in 2024. I am currently working with Nora Nagels and Françoise Montambeault as a research assistant. The research is guided by a feminist perspective and focuses on the policy formulation and implementation processes of integrated care systems, studying the cases of the Manzanas del Cuidado in Bogotá and the Utopías in Mexico City.
