I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Québec in Chicoutimi (UQAC) in 2024. Since the fall semester of 2024, I have been pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Québec in Montréal (UQÀM). Under the supervision of Nora Nagels, my research project focuses on transnational mining firms’ corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs in Bolivia. I seek to demonstrate how CSR impacts indigenous peoples’ citizenship regimes by modifying social groups and State-society dynamics.
To accomplish this project, I will undertake a three-month fieldwork in La Paz in collaboration with the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés. From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a political assistant for a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada. During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant for the NGO Above Ground.
