I hold a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the Institute of Latin American Studies (IHEAL – Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris). I am currently a PhD student in Political Science at the Université de Montréal, under the supervision of Professor Françoise Montambeault, Canada Research Chair in Participation and Citizenship and Director of ERIGAL. My dissertation focuses on the convergence of front-of-package nutrition labelling policies in Latin America, through a comparative analysis of the cases of Chile, Peru, and Mexico. I am particularly interested in the transnational diffusion of nutrition-related public policies and the role of non-state actors operating across borders in shaping public action.
My research examines how health policies are constructed, circulate, and evolve, in connection with nutrition issues and the global circulation of public health norms and expertise. This academic interest also reflects a personal commitment to issues related to sustainable food systems, nutrition, and agroecology.
