I have been a Master’s student in Political Science at the Université du Québec à Montréal (Université du Québec à Montréal) since Fall 2025. My thesis focuses on the relationship between forced displacement and mobility in urban spaces in Colombia, specifically how forced displacement shapes the forms of (im)mobility experienced by displaced people as they settle in the urban peripheries of Bogotá. I am working under the supervision of Nora Nagels.

I completed a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Law with a concentration in Spanish at Université du Québec à Montréal (2021–2024). During that time, I was actively involved in community, student, and political spaces, and I continue to engage in these areas today. I had the privilege of completing two study stays in Bogotá, including a student exchange at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. These experiences, combined with my commitments and learning as a member of the Projet accompagnement solidarité Colombie (PASC), shaped the intuitions, curiosities, motivations, and sense of responsibility that guide my thesis work.

At the same time, I have worked as a research assistant, conference coordinator, and correspondent for the Journal des Alternatives. Since January 2025, I have also been volunteering as a French teacher at Maison de l’amitié community center.
