Natael is a Master's student in Political Science at Concordia University. He holds a B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico with Minors in Human Wellness and International Relations. During his B.A. he worked closely with the Institute for Community Development at the University of Puerto Rico to promote stronger bonds between students and local communities throughout the Island. His research interests center on socio-economic and political development in Latin America and the Caribbean region, particularly in Puerto Rico. For his Master's thesis, he will focus on the relationship between political status, nationalism, identity, and economic growth in Puerto Rico. His thesis supervisor is Dr. Jean-François Mayer.
