I hold a bachelor's degree in political science with a concentration in international relations from UQAM. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in political science under the supervision of Julian Durazo-Herrmann. My thesis is entitled “The crisis of political representation in Peru: constraints on the construction of a citizenship regime.”

My thesis focuses on the crisis of political representation in Peru, specifically since the 2021 presidential elections and in relation to the citizenship regime. Using a historical and critical perspective, I examine social movements and protests as a response to the crisis of representation. These forms of participation are not only a challenge to the status quo, but also an expression of the desire to achieve a less exclusionary citizenship regime.

I am a member of the Student Success Engagement Committee (CERÉ) for the CSSDM. This committee is responsible for researching best educational practices based on scientific research; analyzing student results; and developing/proposing future school curricula.
