I earned my PhD in History from Fafich-UFMG and in Literature from the University of Rennes 2 / University of Haute-Bretagne (UHB) in 2009. My dissertation was one of the first at UFMG to be completed under an international cotutelle agreement.
Since 2015, I have been a Professor and Researcher at the Professor Paulo Neves de Carvalho School of Government (EG) of the João Pinheiro Foundation (FJP) in Brazil. Affiliated with the State, Gender and Diversity Research Group (Egedi), I coordinate OBSERVA Minas, an intersectional gender observatory integrated into the Brazilian National Network of Women’s Observatories. In 2024, my research was recognized with the Women and Science Award from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Public Administration and am currently responsible for research project seminars. I also contribute to the EG/FJP continuing education programs, aimed at public servants across all branches of government and different levels of the state.
