ERIGAL OPEN SEMINAR IN SEPTEMBER 2023: WHEN THE LIGHT GETS IN DURING THE DARKEST DAYS, NEW DEMOCRATIC INITIATIVES IN AUTHORITARIAN 21ST CENTURY LATIN AMERICA

ERIGAL is pleased to announce the organization of a three-day seminar on the topic of democratic initiatives in the 21st century, set within an authoritarian context in Latin America. The seminar will be held at Concordia University in collaboration and with the support of SSHRC, FRQSC, Université du Québec en Outaouais, and Concordia University's Department of Political Science.

Following the Call for papers issued in September 2022, the event will gather a diverse group of participants including ERIGAL professors, senior and junior researchers, as well as students from universities in Montreal, across Canada, the United States, and, of course, Latin America. These individuals will present their research findings during the seminar and they will be discussed.

The seminar will take place from September 13 to 15 at Concordia University's, Henry F. Hall (Building H). A reception will follow the first day's proceedings. For detailed information about the program, please click here to view and download it.
