ÉRIGAL receives a renewal of its FRQSC funding support for research teams for 2019-2023
ÉRGIAL came to be thanks to the financial support from FRQSC Emerging Team Grant, giving it the means to establish itself as a new research team. A renewal of the FRQSC funding has allowed the team to further develop and carry out its projects. On April 30, ÉRIGAL got the exciting news that the renewal application was accepted by the FRQSC for 2019-2023.
Thanks to the funding, ÉRGIAL can start the 2019-2020 academic year by carrying out its research program. This will include the organization of an international conference, workshops, seminars, participation in international events and the co-writing of articles on the following three themes: 1) governance of development and citizenship regimes, 2) informality in the public space and modes of governance, 3) conflict governance: resilience and resistance.
ÉRGIAL students are also at the heart of the program: four scholarships will be awarded to Ph.D students, students will benefit from travel expenses to partner universities and activities and work focusing on students will be included.
